Game Writing


Mysterious monster.

“Hi I’m the Mysterious monster as you know I play for a arcade game.
The aim of the game is that the monster ( me) needs to chase the eagle and try to eat it.
It's pretty hard to catch an eagle because if you did not know eagles can fly, and this one that I chase Cleary can.

Monday……..
My first day being on an arcade game.

Suddenly I'm on the game and I wait in my cave until children come to play the game.
Then a kid came other and donated a coin into the slot. It took control of the remote.
I came running and roaring out of my cave as the eagle started running away.
I keep on running until I catch the eagle, the kid must be really enjoying the game even though he's not winning.

The eagle fly’s  up ahead and lands on one of the branches in a high tree.
So obviously the kids makes me climb up the tree. I have a plan that deforms in my head. I try to do it but the kids spoils it. He drives me up tree using my arm to crab on to each branch like a monkey. I climb up to the highest branch where the eagle is, I reach out at the eagle and crab its foot without the eagle knowing.

Suddenly it looks down and starts screaming like some kind of crazy person.
The eagle try's pecking at my hairy hand but that doesn't stop me.
And that doesn't stop the bird either, it fly’s off the branch and starts flying towards the cliff. I hold on with to hands other wise if I didn't I would fall to my sudden death.

The bird is know just flying other the cliff and starts shaking with rage to get me off his foot. I hold on with one hand and know it's starting to slip off. I let go not liking my chances at surviving. I fall down the cliff and….


To be continued……..

Know I'm lining down on the ground and trying to get up I use my monster hands to try and push the rocks off me so I can get up but it's no use.
This has not happened happened to me before so it's about time that something happens to the eagle that hasn’t happened before.

That's right you quested it I'm going to eat it. Finally I look around and see the eagle next to me. I try to look like I'm dead but then I'm going to quickly turn around and eat the eagle.

The kid turned me around and crabed the eagle by its foot and then I ate it all up feather by feather.

Delicious I cried.

This is my game Review Hope you Enjoy



  Nic told the class to make a game on Scratch Jr, Game press or Game froot.  We could use a I-pad or a Computer.  I chose Scratch Jr, I chose Scratch Jr Because It was the most Challenging one there for me, Cause I didn't know what to do. I got an I-pad and went straight on to Scratch Jr. I did half of my game it was about you had to dodge the falling ceiling and get the Safety kit and get out of the building Safely. Up top is the slide that my class made. The next day I went to go on my game It wasn't there...  I tried everything but nothing worked. and from then on I just tried and tried again.

When It was time to pick our Inquiry we had to go round to all the different inquiry's. My favourite was Troy and I knew That was going to be my first pick. When me and my Friends finished looking at the different inquiry's I knew my three pick straight away. There where Troy (Graduation), Rosie (maori Art), Suzane 
(Cans Arcade). I really liked Troys Inquiry and thats why he's my first pick.  
Reflection: I think I done good in picking my first second and third pick. 
What I could of done better I think I could of picked better Inquiry's.

Athletics Writing

Writing for Athletics


Probably know what you're thinking do feet really have minds of their own? Oh and yes, yes we do. It’s not nice being a pair of sweating smelly feet. Samantha arrived at school and just remembered that IT WAS ATHLETICS DAY AHHHHHHHH.



I’m not the best But we’ll try our best. We put our bags out side so they are all ready to go on the bus. five minutes later the buses arrived. “I finally get to rest before Athletics” Samantha felt scared when we were in the bus because she felt the bus was going to tip over Anyway let me tell you what foot I am. I am the right foot and I call myself miss chocolate, I think you probably think that's I stupid name or you think you’re made out of chocolate but no I think it's a good name for myself.






Anyway Samantha's bus arrived at massy track. Samantha grabbed her bag and got out of the bus. Oh ya I did say thank you to the bus driver. Samantha asked Hannah  if she said thank you to the bus driver and she said no, so Samantha shouted to the bus driver and said “ thank you from Halle.” So we walked down to where we were actually doing Athletics, when we got there we sat down in our house groups.





When we were all in our house groups we all lined up in our year groups, we were all told to go to a station that we were told to go to by the teacher. we lined up at long jump. And we lined up in a order that Marj told us to get in. When it was my turn We ran, We leaped and Landed next up was sprints, We listened to David After we Listened We lined up And David said “ READY SET GOOOO” We sprinted “we don’t stop until we are there” Sam shouted. I crossed the finish line. I did it I did it!! Next up was high jump “I’m so bad at highjump” Sam said to herself, but We had to do it. So I got in line, I waited for my turn. It was my turn now So I Ran And jumped “I did it” I did it, and on my 2nd turn I tried to jump but I hit the pole. Next up was… hurdles, There was a mixture of hurdles there were highone and low ones I went on the high ones And I got 6th then it Was brunch time, next was Shotput So the Year four Girls lined up once again and we through as far as we could I got far but not as far as I was expecting it to go. It Lunch time anyway so We ate our lunch. Now it was discus So we watched Sandy do a Demonstration so When Sandy finished we got in line for the last time It was my turn I through it and now it’s time for Javelin. We headed to Rebecca She did an Demonstration, she pick six people to go first and ya they did it. next up was my turn I got into position and through it. Yay it’s time to go so we packed up and we headed to the buses. But instead I went straight home with my mum.

Fear Story

I hope you enjoy 

Have you nearly died in your life? If not, this story is about me nearly drowning. Hope you enjoy.
One sunny afternoon I asked my mum if we could go for a swim at the ledo. After ten minutes we arrived at the ledo. Once we got there my friend Sophia arrived.



After we had a swim I asked myself if I wanted to go on the basketball hoop dump. I told myself ya let's give it a try. As I stepped into the line I thought to myself let's just go for another swim.

 So I went for another swim but I went for a swim outside. There was a very deep part in the pool but me and Sophia could touch the ground. Sophia asked me if I wanted to go on the basketball dump I said “It looks a bit scary so you can go on it but i’m going to wait a bit more”. She didn’t want to go on it without me. So we zoomed back outside and got a HUGE bucket of water tipped on us I got a little cut on my foot but it didn't hurt or anything.



After ten minutes I started to steer at the big kids they handle it easy. “ but I can't always say no to Sophia” I told myself, “ I'll do it” I said to myself. I asked Sophia if she was ready yet, she said “ yes i’m ready.


So I got in line waited for my turn... Nervous but excited, at the same time I had butterflies in my tummy. After five minutes it was my turn so I jumped, I throw the ball into the hoop, and into the water I went with a big splash. I couldn’t get my head over the water. I saw bubbles coming out of my mouth as I try to yell HELP, I heard my mum screaming “help help my daughter” Sophia didn't realise that it was me drowning until my mum screamed help help my daughter. I tried to say Help but all that came out is bubbles just bubbles,I try not to think that I'm going to die. As I heard the water splashing I also saw a big boy teenager walking towards me, it's fuzzy but I can see. As I start to sink to the bottom of the pool I take one last glimpse of the possibly last place I'll be in for my short life.

 I suddenly felt a hand taking my hand but I'm stuck on something I try to wriggle my way off the thing I'm stuck on. I wriggled unstuck I finally got my head over the water. I’M ALIVE I’M ALIVE I shouted. I jumped out of the water. I hugged my mum and told her " I'm never going swimming again"

Wearable art test

what did I do?  Room 6 & 7 did some stuff for a wearable art production that's coming up.
Why did I do it? I did it because I was trying some colours out for my piece of art that Im going to be creating for the wearable art production.
What did I learn? I learnt that in art you don't just have to use a paint brush you can use your fingers or your hands
What should I do next? I think I should gather some ideas up so when it's time for us to make our wearable art like mixing colours together

Day In a Life, The Ladybugs story

The ladybug story ( day of a life )
 What my message is trying to say is be gentle with ladybugs because they can die from shock! 

 I think I did interesting sentence's in my story. what do you think?

Hello I’m Anna the red ladybug, in a garden by myself. It’s not fair being by myself all alone in a wonderful garden you would want to have someone to play with, but I don’t have anyone to play with it’s so not fair.
Wait a second my garden owner left. When she got home she was holding a Rabbit in a cat cage, “oh no it’s a Rabbit’ I screamed. ‘few they didn’t hear me’. One day the garden owner put the rabbit outside in the garden. I am scared out of my wits. I heard the owner call the Rabbit “Holly” called the mean lady, the Rabbit ran through the doggy door and ate her food. I said to myself “So her name is Holly  what A lovely name to have” I said.
One day the garden owner put the Rabbit on my side of the garden. Now I was even more scared out of my wits. I went silence as a pen drop… Holly the rabbit came closer and closer and closer until, she smelt something, her nose tingled I hide as fast as I could go. Holly skipped away like a kid skipping as fast as she could.

I got out of my hiding spot, slopped down the fence and zoomed down on to the grass, as slowly as I could. I went to the other side of the garden. Then suddenly behind me I saw, I saw alright the big old wrikily lady.Beside her was HOLLY THE RABBIT now I was in trubble Holly saw me. I flew up into the air so fast I was like Lightning in the sky.

I flew so fast that you couldn’t even see me. Then when I wasn't looking I got stuck, I zoomed into a tree. I’m so dumb I thought to myself as I got stuck. I wriggled, I tugged I couldn't get unstuck. I tried again and again I just couldn't get unstuck. It was unbelievable, I've  got stuck plenty times in the past and always got unstuck. "One more time" I whispered to myself. So I tugged and wriggled and out I popped like a soda can. Now I have to suck it up" I thought, I went to investigate so I flew as slowly as I could up to Holly the rabbit. I was scared at first but when Holly turned around she actually was nice, kind not thought she would be like.

she spoke to me like no one else has before. Its incredible to see her speak to me. I felt like a real ladybug princess in her Royal castle. but i’m not a princess in a royal castle.so I said hi back to her nicly not meanly nicly because I haven’t meet her before. she ate her food so Royly like. from that day on me Anna the ladybug and Holly the Rabbit where freinds for ever.

SAMANTHA’S WRITING.

I zoomed to the beach. When me and  my mum got there. AAAHHH ANIMAL  SKELETON’!!!!!!!!! I’M SCARED OUT OF MY WITS. I do not know what to do. What do I do? Do I tell my mum or do I run? Mm... mm..MUM!!!!!!!! I ran to my mum. She didn’t believe me. Like really. She doesn’t believe me. Like she doesn’t.


Well I’m over that. Now I have to go get a hula hoop. Once I got a hula hoop out of the car, I went over to the Animal skeleton.I put the hula hoop down around  the animal skeleton. I called my mum over. I said mumcan you help me see what is living or what  kind of  rocks are  in there?” I asked. So she helped me look what kind of creatures lived in there. Then suddenly a crab came out of the mud, so I said to my mum “A crab lives in there‘“my mum said’ “Yes, a crab does  live in there”.


 I said ‘Can we go get some lunch?” my mum said  “ yes”. So I picked up the hula hoop, ran to the car with my mum and got into it. We ran off to the fish & chip shop around the corner. I got a three dollar pack, it had chicken wings, spring rolls, chips and one fish. 



Then we went home, I told my brothers and my Dad what we saw. When we had dinner we had  mince and cheese pies, for desert we had cheese cake. Then I got my pjs on, said good night got into bed and went to sleep and I dreamed of the Skeleton.
