Descriptive vocabulary (words that help to SHOW the reader)
  • use a range of verbs 
Language features (phrases that help paint a picture) 
  • select one or two similes 
  • use onomatopoeia to show sounds 
  • select words that start with the same sound (alliteration) 
My writing is 2-3 paragraphs (100 - 200 words)

The Butterfly Girl

The butterfly girl is nice
She helps everyone.
Butterfly girls wings glitter in the sunshine
She shots though the sky like a shooting star.
Her Antennas are magical. Thay sparkle in the moon light.
Her wings flutter  when she is happy.
Even though she is a kind butterfly she has a brave side too.
You don't want her to get angry.
If you Get her angry RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. Other wise she will put you in a cage and won't let you
out intill you be nice. Is you be nice. She will give you a reward. that reward is magic glitter. She said
" if you sprinkle it on yourself  then you will have wings."

Her feelings are soft,kind, nice

Swimming backstroke

Backstroke:  
voice over or written points of: 
“Here are some tips in how to swim backstroke:
1. pointed toes, 
straight knees, 
kicking from your bottom, 
fingers together, 
bring your arm up straight and past your ear, 
pinky finger in first. 
Head relaxed in an upward position."

How am I think I'm going well.

What am I doing well head relaxed in an upward position.
I can work on fingers together.
I need to work on pointed toes.
